Activity Ideas: Places to Go - Belfast

1 min read Youth Work
Young people will find plenty to see and do in Belfast over the Christmas period.

Among the attractions is the Titanic Quarter where the infamous ocean liner the Titanic was built and launched. Meanwhile, visitors to Crumlin Road Gaol can learn about how child prisoners used to be treated in times gone by.

For festive fun, take a trip to the Continental Market (until 19 December), which features dozens of market stalls offering a range of crafts and food from across Europe. Also worth a visit is the St George's Christmas Craft Fair (5 and 6 December).

For those that fancy some light-hearted entertainment, pay a visit to the Best of The International Comedy Festivals 2009 at the Grand Opera House in Great Victoria Street on 18 December. Ticket prices start at £12.
