Action for Kids has around 30 full-time and 25 part-time employees. It also makes widespread use of volunteers to raise its £2m annual budget. Roles include family liaison officers, learning support assistants and support staff such as drivers and chaperones. The in-house team also includes the fundraising, HR, IT and finance departments, who are often assisted by young people working alongside staff to provide genuine input to the charity.
