A Grand opening: Children help mark beginning of new advice centre

A centre offering advice and support to the childcare sector has opened in Huddersfield.

The National Early Years Enterprise Centre will help childcare providers improve sustainability, retain staff and ensure practitioners have appropriate skills. Last week the centre, run by the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), held an event to show practitioners what the service will offer. Children from the local Bradley Bar Private Day Nursery, helped cut the ribbon to open the centre, which has received £1.75m of funding from Yorkshire Forward.
