The grants, totalling £2.1m, have been handed out through the Act for Change Fund to 24 youth projects to support, among others, young people from low-income backgrounds, children with disabilities and those facing mental health challenges.

Reclaim, which supports young people from working class communities in Greater Manchester, has netted £100,000 to run youth-led campaigns to tackle discrimination and inequality.
