Women and girls groups to benefit from leadership programme

1 min read Social Care Youth Work
A training and development programme for existing and future leaders in organisations supporting women and girls has been launched.

The programme, run by training organisation Clore Social Leadership, aims to nurture leaders within the sector by helping them forge new collaborations which will boost the support provided to vulnerable women and girls.

The first year of the programme will see 20 senior leaders from within the sector undertake a four-month leadership programme starting in September, with a further 24 emerging leaders commencing a six-month development programme from October. Participants will learn about the attributes, behaviours and skills for successful leadership.

The programme is being delivered in partnership with funders including Comic Relief, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, The Pilgrim Trust, and Rosa, The UK Fund for Women and Girls.
