Wembley Stadium centre encourages learning

Education Youth Work
An education centre has been opened inside Wembley Stadium in a bid to engage local young people in learning.

The Learning Zone @ Wembley Stadium will be open outside school hours, and will encourage young people from across Brent to develop their literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

The centre is a collaboration between the London Borough of Brent, Wembley Stadium and the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

Liberal Democrat councillor Paul Lorber, the leader of Brent Council, said: "The Learning Zone will provide an inspirational learning environment and intensive and extended learning support for those young people in Brent that need it most."
