The year-long pilot launches early next year and will be available to 400 managers working in both local authority children's services and the charity sector, such as heads of service, area managers and assistant directors.
Rebecca Leete, CWDC national programme manager, said: "This programme offers a chance for them to come together to explore complex issues and get fresh perspectives on challenges. We want to help spread evidence-based approaches to workforce reform."
The pilot has been welcomed by Kim Bromley-Derry, president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services and executive director of children and young people's services at the London Borough of Newham.
