The inquiry, which is examining non-formal education provision for young people aged 13 to 25, is currently gathering submissions regarding both universal and targeted services.
To make its case stronger the NYA is urging others to "strengthen the sector’s case" in light of severe cuts to services.
Fiona Blacke, NYA chief executive, said: "Our response to the spending review detailed our visions of how the youth sector can work together to deliver the government’s vision of the big society effectively. Now is the sector’s chance feed in their views."
