New Montessori Schools Accreditation Scheme

Education
The Montessori Schools Association has announced a new accreditation scheme to ensure that every Montessori school meets the standards set out by the MSA.

Working in partnership with the British Accreditation Council and the Independent Schools Inspectorate, the MSA will offer support and guidance to its members in an effort to maintain high levels of quality throughout their schools.

Martin Bradley, the MSA National Chairman said, “The ultimate aim is to ensure that the country is full of genuine Montessori schools to protect the Montessori brand.”

Although the scheme officially roles out this month, some accreditation visits were made during the summer term, incorporating a combination of principles & practice, staffing/management and quality issues. Early results are reportedly very positive.
