NCB unveils new chief executive

The National Children's Bureau (NCB) has announced that Anna Feuchtwang is to become its new chief executive.

Feuchtwang joins NCB from international development charity EveryChild, where she has been chief executive since 2004. She will take over the post from Hilary Emery at the end of September.

Feuchtwang also spent ten years with Oxfam where she was head of communications before becoming director of communications and public affairs at the Association for London Government.

Elaine Simpson, chair of NCB, said:? “Anna’s dedication to creating a better future for children will be a great asset to NCB as the organisation moves forward following its 50th anniversary.

“With her understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children, coupled with proven leadership skills and expertise in policy and communications work, we are confident that Anna is the right person to lead NCB to continuing success.”
