- Mental health system changes welcomed

As child psychotherapists, we support the recommendations by the health select committee to make changes and urgently (MPs slam "deeply flawed" children's mental health system, cypnow.co.uk, 11 November).

Dedicated but beleaguered clinical staff are managing huge caseloads with ever increasing demands on their time, but with often little support and time to think. It is therefore vital that early intervention for mental health difficulties and disorders in children is seen as a priority.
