Girlguiding recruitment campaign

1 min read Youth Work
GIRLGUIDING has launched a new campaign to recruit more volunteers to inspire the next generation of girls and young women.

The #InspireGirls multi-channel campaign, which includes films on social media, focuses on the influential role volunteers play in the charity, supporting 400,000 girls and young women across the country to build confidence, have fun and develop skills as they move through the different age groups - Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.

Girlguiding members of all ages star in the #InspireGirls film which captures the fun and variety of guiding and shows how volunteers inspire by being themselves, leading groups of girls trying activities including building and testing model planes as part of the new Aviation badge for Brownies, tackling an obstacle course and building a makeshift stretcher.

As the leading charity for girls and young women, Girlguiding offers girls a space to have adventures, build their confidence, develop their skills and have fun. Earlier this year the charity unveiled a revamped programme of activities and badges bringing everything up to date to create a unique and extensive choice of activities which reflects the diversity of girls and modern life in the 21st century. New badges include Entrepreneur, Inventing, Navigator, Craftivism and Self-care.
