Foundation years website launched for professionals

1 min read Early Years
Professionals working with children aged up to five will have access to a website from today to help them provide support to children and their families.

In the latest step of the government’s Foundation Years programme, charity 4Children has developed the website to help those working in health, childcare or education services across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

In July the Foundation Years website launched for parents, but it will now contain a separate portal for professionals.

4Children chief executive Anne Longfield said: "The launch of this website puts a new spotlight on the foundation years and provides everyone with an interest in young children, across all relevant sectors, with the support they need at their fingertips.

"I hope everyone will make good use of the resource and spread the word to friends and colleagues. In doing so, we can strengthen the foundation years and really deliver for children and families everywhere."
