The motion, Childhood Wellbeing and Social Mobility, also demands the Government ensures future education, health and social policies have a clear focus on developing the emotional wellbeing of young people.
It was tabled by MP Paul Burstow, who said: "Emotional wellbeing is becoming increasingly important in deciding young people's life chances."
NCH chief executive Clare Tickell added: "More work must be done if we are to understand the threats to the emotional wellbeing of young people today."
The charity released research in June that highlighted the impact emotional wellbeing in the early years can have on social mobility in later life.
Early day motions are submitted for debate in the House of Commons and are usually used to draw attention to specific events or campaigns.
