Drive to get computers in nurseries

1 min read Early Years
The National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) has launched a campaign to get nurseries using computers.

The Go for IT! campaign will run through October and give nurseries advice and information to help them choose the right computer and find funding, information and training.

According to NDNA whilst many nurseries do use computers with children, they often do not have a computer just for the nursery team to help with business and research, and if they do, some staff are not comfortable using it.

The campaign aims to build up confidence in using IT and will advise on buying computers and IT equipment, using software, finding funding and using the Internet.

NDNA members will be sent an information booklet and will be able to download a range of resources from the association’s website.
