Down at my Club - Alford House, south London

I've been coming to Alford House since I was eight. It's somewhere safe and fun to hang around with my friends. I come three evenings a week.

When I was 16, I was offered the opportunity to volunteer at the club and now help to organise sporting activities like football, basketball and table tennis.

There's also an arts and crafts area. Someone from the Dulwich Picture Gallery comes in on Tuesday evenings to work with us on different projects.

This summer we did a project on youth culture in London and New York. We spent six months making a video documentary about issues affecting young people in London, such as crime, education and fashion. Then we went to New York and compared the same three issues.
