In March, Laming published his review into child protection services, which outlined the need for a "step change" in how child services are run.
At the time of the publication, children's secretary Ed Balls said the government accepted all the recommendations and outlined immediate measures to improve child protection, including the creation of a new cross-government National Safeguarding Delivery Unit.
The government's final full response to Laming's review recommendations will outline how the recommendations will be implemented.
