
The London borough, rated "good" at its previous full inspection in 2018, was praised for delivering "exceptionally strong services" overall and across all key measures including the impact of leaders an social work practice, the experiences and progress of children who need help and protection, the experiences and progress of children in care and the experiences and progress of care leavers.
Inspectors said leaders in Bromley had continued to strengthen and further enhance practice since the previous inspection.
"Impressive strategic and operational leadership, allied with strong corporate and political commitment, has led to a shared vision and momentum for children’s services," the inspection report states. "This has gained the confidence and commitment of key partners, and there is a real appetite for shared solutions in the delivery of services."
