Calls to offer foster carers Covid-19 vaccine

The Fostering Network is calling for foster carers to be offered Covid-19 vaccines as a priority.

Over a third of foster carers are under 50 years old so are not high on the priority list for the vaccine, the charity has said, but has warned that regular meetings with social workers and other professionals as well as the birth families increases the risk to them of catching the virus.
