Vulnerable families could miss out on support due to government cuts 

A new report from the County Councils Network (CCN) warns that vulnerable children could be denied local authority support due to budget cuts.

New analysis by the CCN reveals that core government funding for children’s services has been reduced by 35 per cent - a total of £354m – since 2015/16 despite costs rising by £600m.
