Updates for 22 April

A quarter of nurseries remain open

Latest government statistics show that only a quarter (26 per cent) of childcare facilities remain open with 45 per cent reported to have closed. The status of a further 29 per cent is unknown.

Childcare provider Busy Bees has said it will keep 100 of its 379 settings open across the UK and Ireland.
