Clubs for Young People unveils chief executive

Clubs for Young People has appointed consultancy director Tony Bennett as its chief executive.

Bennett is currently managing director of The Good Boss Company, a people development consultancy, and has previously worked for WH Smith, Thomas Cook and as a teacher.

He replaces Simon Antrobus, who has become chief executive of drug and alcohol treatment charity Addaction.

Bennett said: "Having been passionate all my life about the importance of providing the best possible opportunities for young people, it is a particular pleasure to join Clubs for Young People with its great heritage and exciting plans for the future."
