The organisation’s chief operating officer, Naomi Hulston, will replace outgoing chief executive Chris Wright on 20 June after he steps down following 11 years in charge.
During more than two decades at the charity, Hulston has held a total of 14 different positions, progressing from a volunteer to chief operating officer in 2017.
She said: “This is a hugely exciting time to be leading such an incredible organisation. The opportunities for reform and doing things differently brought about by a post-pandemic world present an even greater case for change than ever before.
“As we move forward into the next chapter, I look forward to working with our teams, service users and wider stakeholders to ensure that Catch22 continues to be at the forefront of creating and delivering the social impact we know makes a difference.”
