Capita Children's Services has launched a new module for its One case management system - which currently manages data from schools, social services, nurseries and children's centres - to support local authority youth services.
The Integrated Youth Support Services (IYSS) module will allow agencies to access data on young people including age, gender, location and education history. It will track the progress that individual young people are making as a result of the advice offered by Connexions workers.
Nic Fell, product director at Capita Children's Services said: "The children's services departments we work with have made it clear that they do not want their data on children and young people stored in disparate systems."
