As part of a three-year partnership between UK Youth and B&Q, 330 stores will link up with one of their local youth clubs. Youth workers, volunteers and young people at each club will receive £250 worth of materials as well as DIY training from store staff.
The deal also gives youth clubs four days a year to fundraise in the store they are twinned with.
Work on the clubs will be completed by the end of this month.
UK Youth communications director Dominic Cotton said: "There is no way we can pretend that this makes up for the funding cuts that are facing youth services but this can go a long way to improve clubs. The training being offered is particularly useful."
