Baby yoga course launched

Early Years Health
A new training programme to teach yoga to children under the age of two has been launched by social enterprise Yoga4 Ltd.

The training programme will help early years workers do yoga with under-twos. Yoga4 already runs a programme for doing yoga with children aged two to five.

Yoga4 is a member partner with the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and members will get a ten per cent discount on the training programme.

Purnima Tanuku, chief executive of NDNA, said: “The training has been very popular with members and we are pleased nurseries can now access a programme to help them introduce the benefits of yoga to children of an even younger age.”

One-day courses run by Yoga4 are £225, or £199 for NDNA members.
