Zoteria, developed by the Vodafone Foundation in partnership with LGBTQ+ charities Galop and Stonewall, enables victims and members of the public to report hate crime incidents.

The app accepts reports of any hate crime motivated by or perceived to be motivated by a person’s gender or sexual identity, including incidents of verbal abuse, harassment, physical attacks, violent threats and online abuse.

Anyone, including young LGBTQ+ people, can use the app free of charge to report incidents to LGBTQ+ charities, and anonymised regional and city data from the app will be passed onto local authorities, so they can build more knowledge of hate crime in their area.
