Funding for smaller youth organisations

Funding The trust aims to make around 350 grants a year. Grants can take the form of core funding, development funding, project grants or capital grants. There is no minimum or maximum grant amount.

Funder The Tudor Trust is based on an original endowment in 1955 from Sir Godfrey Mitchell consisting of shares in the building firm Wimpey.

Aim Currently, the trust has 10 broad priorities, of which youth is one, but it is also open to hearing about work outside its traditional areas of funding. It says it doesn't have a particular agenda, just to support work that is needed.

Who can apply? The trust is particularly interested in smaller, under-resourced bodies, and those who involve their clients in planning services. Organisations funded do not have to be registered charities.
