The children's commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, said in a report that she “was shocked and concerned to hear from children as young as 12 who told me that vaping was normalised among their peers”.

But why is it becoming popular among teenagers and what are the health risks surrounding it?

Vaping became popular among young people in 2015.

A report by charity Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) says that 14.1 per cent (2.1 million) of high school pupils vape.
