- What does your job entail?

I work for a family-strengthening charity called Welcare, and I'm trained to deliver the Incredible Years (IY) parenting programme. I am a group leader and have run 13 IY groups in London. The programme helps parents address issues such as play, praise, tangible rewards and setting limits. It targets hard-to-reach parents or those who have children with challenging behaviour.

- How do you make a difference?

My style is to create a group dynamic where everybody can learn from each other's experiences. We use role play, videos and discussions. It is through the experiences people present that we create each programme. The topics are the same, but people's needs and experiences are different. I have also been focusing on working with fathers, which often gets neglected.
