- What do you do?

My role is to assess young people and assist with their job searches. I am one of the first people they meet when they come to Connexions. We have an exploratory conversation looking at their education and skills and that shapes how we progress. Typically we work with young people aged 13 to 19, although it can be up to 25 if they have a statement of needs. Currently I am helping to provide a weekly service for young people in Windsor who can't easily get to our Maidenhead office.

- How did you get into this job?
