When initially asked to review a book titled ADHD - Living Without Brakes, I thought the author would be another so-called "expert" on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I myself have two grandchildren with ADHD, so I have personal experience of living with sufferers of this disability. A lot of "experts" know the medical aspects of ADHD, but don't know what it's like living with it on a daily basis. The usual recommendation is go to a parenting group or just learn to deal with it. So when I began reading the book, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the author Martin L Kutscher does know what he is talking about.
