Queen's Speech 2009

It was nice to see the BBC talking to young people to get their opinion on the Queen's Speech shortly after it was concluded. Three young people from Birmingham University gave their views.

Now I must go and write a news story on the subject. In case you missed it the three bills of interest to us are Child Poverty Bill (already gone through Public Bill Committee); Children, Schools and Families Bill (the one that's offering "guarantees for pupils and parents") and a bill to ensure "parents take responsibility for their children's antisocial behaviour and tackling youth gang crime".
