There's not as much on this week compared with the last few weeks, with the Queen's Speech and Children in Need dominating the schedules, but I do like the sound of the young butchers. Which profession should get its own reality show next?
Monday 16 November
BBC1 4.55pm Whose Side Are You On? A Newsround Special. The BBC links up with Anti Bullying Week as celebs including boxer Joe Calzaghe and JLS's Aston share their tales of bullying, and a drama tells the story of a young boy who witnesses his friend being bullied.
BBC3 10.30pm (and repeated rather a lot throughout the week) Young Butcher of the Year. I hand over to Danny Cohen, controller of BBC Three. "It is a bit like Butcher Idol, I suppose. What we've tried to look at is shows like The X Factor and the dancing contests - all wonderful shows. But what about the vast number of young people who are very talented, with great technical expertise, but are unsung heroes? It'll be young people doing extraordinary things that are often quite jaw-dropping when you see them." It's hosted by George Lamb, I kid you not.
