As well addressing the rising costs and poor outcomes in the care market in general, we believe that an ongoing focus on improving standards and effective regulation of the supported accommodation sector should be an essential part of this strategy. Here are lessons from the transformation journey so far.

Improvement journey

NCB’s vision is for all children to thrive. For young people living in supported accommodation, this means being safe, secure and supported by adults who care about their lives and their futures. The supported accommodation sector has been on a long-overdue improvement journey and NCB has worked with more than 1,000 providers as they’ve progressed through the process to become registered with Ofsted.
