This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Foyle Foundation. Last year, the foundation, registered as a charity in July 2000 to implement the terms of the will of the late Christina Foyle, distributed around £9m in grants. Beneficiaries include schools, youth groups and children’s charities.

What is it? The 5x60 project is a healthy living initiative. Welsh pupils are taught how to write, star in and produce short films to promote sports and activities. It is part of the Welsh Assembly's work to achieve their target of 90 per cent of secondary pupils doing 60 minutes of physical activity five times a week by 2020.
