Into Film is a new charity that uses film as a medium to engage young people at risk of social exclusion, helping them to develop vital educational and personal skills along the way.

The charity – born of a merger between film education organisations Film Club and First Light - offers a nationwide film-learning programme for children and young people between five and 19 years old.

Into Film, which has the backing of the British Film Institute, believes film is a powerful tool to support young people's personal, creative, educational and cultural development and works with more than 7,000 schools, colleges and youth clubs.
