The Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is making 90,000 pounds available to organisations showing innovative integrated working.

The council is looking for nine projects that will receive £10,000 each to demonstrate how integrated working has helped them improve the lives of children, young people and families. The funding is part of the CWDC Share! initiative.

Work on the Common Assessment Framework with 11- to 18-year-olds, supervision in an integrated setting, and the role of the lead professional are areas the council is particularly interested in.

Deirdre Quill, director of workforce reform and the regions at the council, said: "The Children's Plan charges us with making this the best place in the world for children to live. Developing a workforce integrated around the needs of the child will help make that happen."

Tenders open on 5 May and close on 13 June. Projects should be willing to be filmed and photographed as part of the scheme.
