CYP Now breaks down key funding asks from across the sector.
Organisations across the sector have long called on Chancellor Rishi Sunak to “put children and young people at the centre” of the first CSR since 2015.
The CSR was cancelled in 2019 due to delays over the Brexit deal and Theresa May’s resignation in June that year.
A one-year spending review took place in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The CSR will determine government spending until 2024/25 and has been announced alongside the Autumn Budget - but did it meet the hopes of sector leaders, charities and practitioners working with vulnerable children and families?
