
The funding, provided by NatWest, will allow the NYA’s NatWest Thrive programme to continue providing opportunities to young people, for a further five years.
The programme offers chances for young people build their confidence with money, and develop aspirations for the future.
The increased funding will be used to expand the scheme in collaboration with the Marcus Rashford programme, and will allow access to a network of NatWest volunteers and almost £3 million worth of training for more than 200 young people through the bank’s apprenticeship scheme by 2028.
The NYA will also be able to double the number of youth clubs delivering the NatWest Thrive programme in 2023.
