NYA Update: Session plans for young researchers

The National Youth Agency Young Researcher Network has launched a series of session plans to support young people undertaking youth-led research.

The session plans - activity kits for use by young researchers and organisations developing youth-led research - provide activities, worksheets and top tips to accompany the Young Researcher Network toolkit, which was released earlier this year.

There are five plans in the series, including: writing your research question, identifying your data set, research interview skills, researching sensitive topics, and reporting findings to different audiences.

The toolkits have been developed as part of the National Youth Agency's work with the Local Government Association, supported by top-sliced funding for local authorities and can be downloaded from: www.nya.org.uk/ integrated-youth-support-services/young-researcher-network.
