NYA Update: Hear by Right training goes public

The National Youth Agency has launched a series of public Hear by Right training courses to help organisations learn about and improve their approach to young people's participation.

The one-day events are being held at NYA’s offices in Leicester and aim to provide delegates with an understanding of the benefits of young people’s participation and a practical knowledge of how to use Hear by Right to improve practice.

Attendees will also be provided with an introduction to the Hear by Right Award, achieved by a total of 13 organisations in 2011, including Limehouse Youth Centre, City Gateway – the first to achieve the coveted Hear by Right Gold Award.

Training will be delivered by the Wade Mills Partnership and take place on Tuesday 6 March, Wednesday 6 June and Thursday 11 October at a cost of £95+VAT.
