NCB Now: School-Home Support wins DfE grant

School-Home Support has won a grant from the Department for Education (DfE) under the Improving Outcomes for Children, Young People and Families fund. School-Home Support will receive 1m over two years to deliver its service in five regions: East Midlands, London, the North West, the South West and Yorkshire and the Humber.

Julia Burns, head of learning and development at School-Home Support said: "This is a fantastic outcome for School-Home Support. Whole family support to the most vulnerable children through early intervention is critical to prevent poor outcomes for families and can unlock social mobility. Through our work in schools, this grant will allow us to reach out to many more vulnerable children, young people and their families."

With 27 years of early intervention experience in the third sector, School-Home Support is the only organisation that has been tasked by the DfE to provide training to educational settings to develop the UK's children's workforce.
