Two forthcoming half-day events will highlight and raise awareness of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).
"Awareness and Prevention of Fetal Alcohol Harm: an introduction for practitioners", on 1 February in Glasgow, and "Fetal Alcohol Harm: How to identify and support children with FASD", held on 9 February 2012 in Edinburgh, will provide advice and the latest research information on the condition.
Speakers include Dr Maggie Watts - FASD co-ordinator for the Scottish government, and the chair will be Dr Jonathan Sher, director of research, Children in Scotland.
