Young people from Brent Council's Youth Service have returned from a visit to Jamaica where they interviewed descendents of the Maroon people, the first freed African slaves in the western hemisphere. They are visiting local schools to talk about their experiences throughout Black History Month in October ahead of a photographic exhibition in London's Docklands.
