Youth Work: Kirklees Council's youth service holds contest

Kirklees Council's youth service is holding a public speaking contest tomorrow (17 April) for young people aged eight to 19 in the Mirfield area.

They will be given the chance to win a digital camera, iPod and gift vouchers after talking on a topic of their choice for two minutes. The aim is to give young people the chance to have their say on what matters to them and get experience of public speaking.
