A survey of women from all walks of life by Girlguiding has revealed that two-thirds were award winners and felt being a member of Girlguiding contributed to their success.
More than three quarters of women questioned felt that having access to female-only spaces helps young women to become more successful in later life, while two thirds said if they had a daughter they would like her to be in guiding.
