The Electoral Reform Society has said an urgent overhaul of the UK's democracy is needed if young people are to engage with politics. The comment followed a survey by social networking site Piczo, which revealed more than two-thirds of young people felt their age group was victimised by the government, and nearly half had "absolutely no respect" for politicians. www.electoral-reform.org.uk.
