Batstone has been in the role for three years and will relinqu-ish the post on 18 June at the association's annual general meeting. Mike Thomas, vice-chair of the organisation, said that Batstone's time in the role had helped the organisation to flourish: "The profile of the association has been raised and a lot of it is down to Pauline."
