Youth nightclubs: Club culture

"Oi," chants the crowd enthusiastically along with the More Fire Crew track of the same name. The dance floor is heaving with people, all with the sole aim of having a good night out. The drinks are flowing and it seems like just another Friday night in a London nightclub.

But it's not. All the clubbers at the Rhythm night are aged between 13 and 17, and the drinks that are flowing are strictly of the non-alcoholic variety. Welcome to Rhythm and the world of under-18 nightclubs.

Rhythm was launched on 14 January at Jack's nightclub in southeast London.

The night featured a variety of music, from R'n'B and hip-hop to pop and garage and beat-box performances.
